Pinewood Studios sits on Pinewood Road in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire. It is close to us, and production work means journeys at hours that do not suit public transport.
Why transport is awkward here
Pinewood is not near a station. The nearest rail options involve a further journey by road at either end, and call times on a shoot are frequently very early or very late. That combination is why a pre-booked car is common for crew travel.
Airport runs
Heathrow is the closest major airport and a short run from Iver Heath, which makes Pinewood a natural stop for visiting cast, crew and production staff arriving internationally. Gatwick, Luton and Stansted are all covered too.
Early call times
Journeys run 24 hours a day, so a 5am call time is not a problem — but the booking itself needs to be made during our phone hours of 7am to 7pm. For a production running across several days, it is usually easiest to arrange the whole set of journeys in one go. Our regular customer arrangements exist for exactly this kind of repeat travel.
Nearby
Iver Heath is also home to Black Park and Langley Park, both used regularly for filming. We cover those too.
