Terminal 5 is Heathrow's largest terminal, used exclusively by British Airways and Iberia. Here's what to expect when you're dropped off.
Set-down area
The short-stay set-down area is directly outside the main terminal building, a short walk from check-in. Private hire vehicles can drop off here — it's well signposted from the approach roads.
Walk to check-in
From the drop-off point to the check-in desks is a short, mostly flat walk, typically under 5 minutes with luggage.
Terminal 5 also serves T5A, T5B and T5C
If you're connecting to a satellite pier (5B or 5C), you'll go through security first and take an internal transit train — this is all after the main drop-off point, so it doesn't affect your pickup or drop-off arrangements with us.
Booking your transfer
When you book, just confirm it's Terminal 5 (rather than the combined Terminals 2/3 building) and we'll route accordingly — the drop-off points for each Heathrow terminal are in different locations.
