Being collected from an airport is slightly different from a normal pickup, mainly because arrival times are not entirely predictable. Here is how it works.
Meeting your driver
At Heathrow and Gatwick we can arrange a meet and greet, where your driver meets you inside the terminal. For other airports this can be arranged on request — mention it when you book so we can plan for it.
Flight delays
Give us your flight number when you book. Flights get delayed, and knowing the flight number means the pickup can be adjusted rather than your driver waiting for a plane that has not landed.
Which terminal
This matters more than people expect. Heathrow's terminals have separate drop-off and pickup areas, and Terminal 4 is on a different approach road entirely. At Gatwick, the North and South terminals are separated with only a shuttle between them — arriving at the wrong one costs real time. Always check your boarding pass rather than relying on a previous trip, since airlines do move between terminals.
Luggage
Tell us how many bags you have at the booking stage. It determines which vehicle we send, and it is much easier to sort in advance than on the pavement outside arrivals.
Booking
Journeys run around the clock, so a late-night landing is not a problem — but new bookings are taken by phone between 7am and 7pm, so arrange the collection before you travel. See our airport transfers page.
