The route runs clockwise on the M25 to junction 6, then the M23 and A264 to Tunbridge Wells, before the A21 south through Flimwell and Battle into Hastings. The A21 between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings is single carriageway in places and can be slow on summer weekends.
